Shanghai, Sorted is an independent English guide for first-time visitors and international students. We help you prepare the small practical things that make arriving easier.

Our first public edition

Find 9 practical guides, visitor and student checklists, 10 editorial FAQs, university links and an offline arrival card. Checklist ticks and card drafts stay on your browser. Community posting and account sync are not available in this edition.

How information is checked

Each guide links its sources and shows its modification date and recorded source-check date. Launching the site or changing its design does not itself mark the sources checked. Confirm current entry, enrolment, residence, transport and payment instructions with the relevant official source or your provider.

Neighborhood suggestions are editorial advice. We do not verify housing listings, broker rentals, sell SIM plans, process bookings or hold deposits.
